Keri Hinton has proudly served Yamhill County as County Clerk since July 2022 in an elected, nonpartisan office. Backed by 12 years of public service, she has led with integrity, strengthened security and office operations, and built trusted relationships throughout the community and local government. Keri is committed to keeping the Clerk’s Office reliable, transparent, and accountable. She has successfully overseen the administration of 12 elections, working to protect the integrity of every vote, uphold the law, and maintain public trust in the election process.

Launched a free Property Recording Alert Service program to provide property owners a tool to keep informed of property transactions with timely notifications allowing residents greater transparency and control over their property records
Implemented enhanced security protocols across daily office tasks, strengthening protections while maintaining efficient service to the public

Certified Passport Acceptance Agent/Facility Manager, certified by the U.S. Department of State, to support secure passport processing for Yamhill County.

Keri Hinton is your Yamhill County Clerk and was elected overwhelmingly by voters in November 2022. Clerk Hinton is an experienced election administrator, public servant, county leader, champion of voter rights and accessibility, life-long community member, wife, and a mother. By fostering these vital partnerships in the community, Clerk Hinton continues to build confidence in the electoral process and in local government.
